My Little Loves (1974)
Twelve-year-old Daniel climbs trees, teases girls and punches his classmates in the stomach. He grows up innocently with his grandmother in the countryside. After years, he has to move to the big city with his poor mother and his development accelerates. Daniel soon discovers the cinema, the pub, scooters and lust.
When Daniel returns to his grandmother's village, he is no longer the same as his childish friends. Daniel has irrevocably become an adolescent. MY LITTLE LOVES is a semi-autobiographical story about youth and innocence set in a post-war French context.
