Deutsches Kino: Hysteria

During the filming of a movie about the racist attack in Solingen in 1993, a burnt Koran on the film set causes a commotion. Intern Elif finds herself caught between two fires and is swept up in a dangerously escalating stream of secrets, accusations and lies. An ambiguous conspiracy thriller full of unexpected twists and turns that plays with the motif of a film-within-a-film, starring Devrim Lingnau and Nicolette Krebitz, among others.
